These are some of the production work we make in the studio, mostly Harry's work, asymetrical and fluid.
"These spiral forms employ the fluidity of glass in its molten state," says Harry. "My interest in the spiral as a structure is inspired by its many manifestations in nature. The spiral is often apparent in circulating fluids and also in the patterning and structures of organic forms."
These glass objects are playful forms informed by such small wonders as a shell or by the grand vortices in weather patterns.
In 2003, Matt and Harry established their studio (affectionately known as Curtistan) in Queanbeyan, New South Wales, where they live with their two sons, Hugo and Oscar and a few furry and feathered friends.
